AI Everywhere – Privacy Policy
AI Everywhere has no accounts and no servers of its own. This page explains what happens to your text and images and to the information the app keeps.
Your text and images
Text and images are only read when you run an action from the bubble, the text selection menu, the home screen widget or the Share sheet. They come from your clipboard, from text you select, from an image you share to the app, or from an image you pick with the image button in Ask anything, which uses Android's photo picker: the app sees only the picture you choose, never your photo library. A photo you take with the camera button in Ask anything is taken by your own camera app, and this app is given only that photo. The paste icon in Ask anything reads your clipboard too, when you tap it. Nothing is read or sent in the background.
Where it goes
When you run an action, the text or image is handed to the AI app you choose, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, through Android Share or a link that opens that app. An image you pick or share is passed straight to that app, and this app does not keep a copy of it. A photo you take is written to a temporary file in this app's private storage so that your camera app can save it; it is not added to your gallery, and the app deletes it after an hour or when you take another. If that app is not installed, text is copied to your clipboard and the app's website opens in your browser, where you can paste it; an image goes to Android's share sheet instead. Neither text nor images pass through any server run by this app. The AI app or website you choose handles them under its own privacy policy and terms.
Stored on your phone
Your settings, appearance choices, home screen widget choices and your own prompts stay on your phone. So do the last text you typed in Ask anything and up to ten texts you recently sent from it, if "Remember last text" is on (the default); you can clear them, or turn it off, in that screen and nothing is kept. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include these settings in your Google backup, which is managed by Google and not by this app.
Prompt files
You can export your own prompts to a file, and import them from one. A file holds the name and wording of each prompt and the AI app it is sent to, and nothing else. It is created only when you choose Export, and it is saved where you choose, using Android's file picker. The app does not send it anywhere. The app reads a file only when you choose one to import, or when you open a prompts file from another app and pick AI Everywhere to open it. Once a file is saved, keeping it safe is up to you, as with any file on your phone.
Permissions
The app asks for permission to display over other apps, so the bubble can appear, and to show notifications, so Android can show the notification that keeps the bubble running. It can also open Android's battery settings if you choose to exempt it from battery optimization. None of these permissions gives the app access to your text, your contacts, your files or your location. The app does not ask for access to your photos, files or storage: an image reaches it only when you share one to it or pick one with the image button.
Other
The app contains no advertising or analytics of its own. A one-time Pro purchase, if you choose it, is handled by Google Play; the app does not receive your payment details, only whether the purchase has been made. If you use Send feedback, your email app opens with the app version, Android version and phone model written in the message, which you can read and edit before sending.
Children
AI Everywhere is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
